What's wrong with my exhaust?

Hey I noticed my exhaust pipes are extremely different after my ride today. One has the heated patina I would expect, the other seems to have that powdery accumulation on it, or that it isn't getting up to the same temperature... Do I have a valve issue?

I'm most probably out in left field but that pic makes it look like dirt to me. Is it?

I still have a full deck.
I just shuffle slower.

its just road grime being kicked up by the front wheel, the one part of the pipe thats clean is mostly covered by the other pipe so stays cleaner longer, mine gets the same way. hit it with a stainless steel scouring pad from the dollar tree and it will look good as new

A fender extender helps reduce the road dirt that the front wheel kicks up.
