First time I've seen it. Are you sure that's a Versys? The swing arm doesn't look right. He definitely has a vision. I wonder if he plans on upgrading the suspension? Nice looking bike though!
Looks like your friend is getting ready for a long trip. Thanks for posting the pic Tenover.

That's Jdrocks' ER 6-n. He does indeed have vision. Quite the mastermind.

I've seen JDRock's post's, but somehow missed this bike. That is a one-off bike for sure.

VERY VERY COOL. The time and talent to make those conversions is applauded. My V is a mild version of what JDROCK did. When looking like that, I'm a poser, but that's the real deal.

Here is the thread, one of the biggest ones ever. It gives the details of how this cool bike came to be.

Dude!

Very nice. Even if it is an ERn6.

Cheers!

I think JDRock may have gotten some of his inspiration from a Ninja that was dualsported out on the ADVRider forums. I think JDRock did a better job completing the project. It's what got me interested in the Versys. Pretty much anything you can do with the Ninja or the Naked Ninja ER-6n, you can do with the Versys. IMO the Versys is a bit better out of the box for 'dual-sporting' type activities. However you can always make it better, especially with the 19" V-Strom wheel with the cut down rotors and the caliper spacers.
