Centurion Suit

Has anyone tried on of these yet. Thinking about making a Christmas wish for one.

Cheers!

I haven't tried one, although it was on my short list. Wound up buying an Olympia Phantom in hi viz. Absolutely love it. Started my commute this a.m. at 26*F. Fingertips a little cold, but that's the gloves.

I will say as far as fit goes I am 6'tall with a 33" inseam. Positive ape index. Long arms, short torso. The body and arms of the suit fit great, the legs rode up to th etop of my boots. I sewed on 3" of cordura to the bottom of the legs, now all is well. The legs have room for a hem if you go the other way.

Sorry to hijack the thread but, for roughly the same price, the reviews led me to the Olympia.

Olympia

I started with Olympia Jacket and Pants a few years ago, but looking for something to get rid of the draft, Olympia was not as water proof as I needed some days.

Cheers!

I hear you. I started out with Joe Rocket stuff. I didn't like the fit, finish was good though. The phantom is working out great for me though. YMMV.

Few weeks in now.

All right now. A few weeks on this suit and I like it ... for the most part. Suit fits well for me. I am 6' 4" and 240 lbs. It's a tad bit short in the stride, but when seated it's not noticeable. The liner is warm for sure. So far I have I have only ridden in low 40's. Rain conditions is a little different. As usual, you get your crotch wet. I think this is an issue more with the folding of the zipper and flaps, that can be adjusted. Tonight was the first night of a torrential down poor coming home and I the above happened - on the way home thank goodness. It has enough vents to keep you cool during moderately warm weather, but may be too much in summer time conditions. Good suit if you don't want to through down the bones for an Aerostitch suit. Or looking to see if you really want to ride in a suit.

Ride on my friends.

Cheers!
