A little late... But, I changed my oil and went for a nice little 5.5 hour ride.

Google doesn't track everything quite right. I rode quite a bit further than what it says, and my attempts at fixing the map only screwed it up worse.

I'm planning to start earlier on Tuesday and make a big loop of it. Same way, but out to hwy 395 and back on hwy 4. We'll see if that pans out.

Also when I order from another shop this motorbike it was last motorbike with this collor in storage for whole European Union, and I reserve them.
On last motorbike meeting my bike was main star, I am so happy with this motorbike, I waiting 9 years to get licence for motorbike ,and for buying.
For now I added thet military star, I still waiting stickers from aliexpress, bullet hole stickers, and glass hole sticker.
I think that stickers will be badass on motorbike.

Forecast changed from 'showers' to 'cloudy' this AM, so I wore my mesh gear to Church and home again, in the dry.

Friends dropped by for a visit about 1100, then it started raining, so that was all my riding for today.

Got back from a ride to La Conner Washington for a celebration of life for a friends dad. Pretty town on the ocean close to Whidbey Island. Only drag is the Canada-US border which is packed both ways..

That's the color I want to make my 2009 Versys. Problem is it will cost me 750-1000 dollars to have someone do it for me. Something like 150 per item painted.

That is a pretty bike you got there.

I'm back, it's been several years since I was on the forum. I've had 2 2008 traded even for a 2016 Ninja 650R. After about 3 years with that bike I went back to the Versys yesterday. I traded the Ninja and 1800 for a 2015 LT with just 2000 miles. I've only put about 200 miles on it, but I remember now what I liked about the Versys. Need to do a few mods and everything will be good

If that color didn't existe, I will be probably still looking which motorbike I will buy.

I love this collor, many bikers when see this color say that is awesome, and unique ( I see this color only in kawasaki service on Vulcan 900, and on my friend BMW R1200GS )
It is really really expensive to pay 750-1000$ for bike, they don't have much parts which you need to paint.
Whole car almost you can paint in my country for that price.
You can find: matte military green vinyl wrap at internet and check it, maybe you will like that.

Went for a ride to see some old friends from near Calgary, who were camped 10 km N of Vernon. Had a nice one hour visit, lots of stuff to 'catch-up' on, then rode back (via the twisty road along Lake Okanagan, BOTH ways!!!), requested a book from the library ("Destination Disaster" by P. Eddy), then to the garage to put a coat of paint onto the work-bench I just almost have finished....

Took a 120 mile ride Sunday morning through the Sierras. Hit a new top speed of 113 indicated. 107 on the Rever app. Filled up after work today and got 57 mpg out of that tank. Broke down and washed the bike Saturday after the butterfly migration last Sunday.

Mid-winter ride, the best way to stop being grumpy about the weather is to go riding.Pouring with rain got all the gear onand went.
Went down through Morrinsville and got lost in the back roads around Walton.Good roads and very little traffic but pouring all the time.Saw some more bikes on the road, hardy types.Ended up at the Okoroire pub, forget being cold and wet, time for a beer. Then came home along Old Tauranga rd.Still raining,so tried the tyres on the twisties, they held very well.Got up to140km in the wind and rain, not bad at all.Did 230km,got wet, cold and smiling.

Happy riding

Just got back yesterday from a two week trip trailering the V. A spent a few days flogging it well in WV, TN, NC, and southwestern VA. Will be mounting up a new front tire and taking off on the V for a 4k mile trip just after Labor Day, or maybe a bit earlier.
