HTML Code is OFF, etc... ???

Hi!

For some reason that I do not understand, I am now unable to post links to images, internet links, etc.
In other words, I can only post in a very basic mode.

Notes:
I have noticed that it is indicated HTML code is Off under posting rules at the bottom left hand of my screen.
I have not changed anything in my user profile, etc.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

Thank you

I still have a full deck.
I just shuffle slower.

Looks like it's caused by my browser (Firefox).
I tried MS Explorer and it seems to function.

It's caused by one or more of the Firefox Add-Ons.
I'll try to figure it out and come back with the solution (for other Firefox users).
Thanks!

You're right. The "HTML is OFF" comment has nothing to do with my problem.
The Add-On Ghostery (to prevent browser tracking) is causing this. I have it set at "off" for now.
Thank you

I am on this forum and the Kawasaki Vulcan forum ... both owned by the same company .... this forum is by far the most unstable of the 2, I have never had any issues on the Vulcan forum while either viewing or posting some 3500 posts. On this forum, its a constant battle.

And as I flipped into 6th, I could not remember a damn thing she said ....

Get the latest version of Firefox from Firefox. Com. The install program will remove your old version but keep settings and bookmarks. No need to remove it first. All users using Firefox should do this.

I already have the latest release of Firefox (53 - 32 bit).
Note: The problem was created by an Add-On. I have corrected the situation.
Thanks!

Since I kept my PC on Windows 7, I prefer the 32-bit release (better on memory usage, better compatibility with older and certain types of software. etc.).
Thanks!
