One Week in...

One week and over 400miles and I really like what the V is about. Kawasaki has done a great job with the latest version and I'm very happy to have moved from the FJ09.

Out of the box the suspension is very good, but on one of the B roads with a lot of chop I decided to try to dial it in better. I reset the front rebound damping and made sure the factory setting spec'd in the book was set correctly on the bike and it was (2 1/2 turns out from full in) and the rear. I didn't have to change preload at all on the front.

I've tweeked the front going a little harder to 1 1/2 turns out from full in and the rear @ 3 clicks in. I'm 165lbs FWIW.

I've also been playing with a camera location (ReplayXD - great camera BTW) and watched front suspension during and after the setup.

Playing around, here's what I got, edited with a little Metal. Yes, I've exceeded the break-in rpm "recommendation" as I've done with others.
