I have a set of those (in black) on my Star 1300 cruiser. Been on there for 3+ years with no issues.

sometimes it's the little things...

I just put on a set a couple of weekends ago, and love the difference. One thing, though: I found I was getting a booming around my helmet that I had not felt or heard before, and at first I thought it was the handguards at fault. After some experimenting, though, I discovered the real culprit - moving the lever brackets in to accomodate the handguard mounts! Air coming off the (now more closely spaced) mirrors was causing the turbulence; fortunately, a set of mirror extenders brought everything back to normal easily and cheaply.

YMMV, but something to consider as you install them. Enjoy!

Did they include the mounting kit for that price? When I bought mine retail, the mounting kit was sold separately from the guards, as there are two different mounting kits available.
