Value priced windshield?
OK,
I have a 2009 and I'm looking for a windshield to provide more wind protection. With it getting cold (I hate the cold) I need to stay warm! I don't want to spend $175 unless I have to.
What has been a good shield to go with? How big do I need to go? I imagine I'll reinstall the stock shield during the summer unless someone has a better idea.

There is a reason why I live in FL and this cold weather is not one of them. Yes, I'm spoiled and that is fine with me!

I've been testing the Mike's Shields Touring model and I really like it. For the money, it can't be beat.

Just get some warmer gear, or a tried and true method is put a garbage bag on before suiting up it will keep you toasty warm.
I have Olympia Mesh gear, that has a great waterproof liner that is very warm, and I ride in temps down too 35 degrees. then when it warms up remove the liners and you are good to go for the rest of the day.
