Best money spent so far

After taking a few short rides on my new Versys I realized I just had to get my legs stretched out more for any chance of going on longer rides. I purchased the Motowerks highway mounts and temporarily made some pegs using 3/8" bolts and rubber hose. Wow, what a difference. Being able to stretch your legs all the time and being able to adjust them to any position. These are awesome. Thanks Motowerks for building such a nice product. When I find just the right footpegs then I will switch these bolts out.

Have you considered getting your legs shortened? Just a thought...

I am somewhat vertically challenged at 5'9'' but having the highway pegs allows me to stretch out the legs even if they are a little short.

Why cant' you just add a set of clamp-on pegs to the crashbars. Cruisers do it everyday or maybe I am missing something.
