SLOWwwww.....

I guess I missed it. Did we ever find out why this site runs so slow? Everywhere else I go on the net is lightning fast. 'cept here.

I have no problems here with this site. It runs every bit as fast as any other site I go to. I primarily us Firefod but on occasion use Windows Explorer.

It is the slowest loading site I visit regularly, out of literally hundreds.
It's not our browser fault.

Not SLOW at all...

This site works just fine for me. Loads just as fast as any other sites I visit. I also use FIRE-FOX. You might try M/S Security Essentials. Just Google.. MSE It does a great job in filtering out all the junk that can clog up your system. It's free and after cleaning out my system of other Virus scanners..Add blockers etc, my system running Vista and soon going to Win-7 runs just fine with no slow downs...

Just my $0.02..

Get Firefox then install the Ad Block Plus (ABP) plug-in. Speeds things up. This site is nice and quick for me.

Yes. See other thread on this. I did this and went from increadibly slow back to normal download times again. The ads on this site greatly slow it down.

I've up channeled it numerous times. Not sure if management are working it or not. Sorry fellas, wish I could do more. The site loads fine for me with firefox or internet explorer. And seems to load fine for many of our members. I don't know what the difference is. Wish I did, cause I'd sure share the 'how to'....

If the system slows down to much just give your computer a good bash with a large hammer

I think it's DNS issues or something similar with some ISPs. Usually this site is as fast as any other, but it will often bog down or hang while trying to load data from a third party server (read: advertiser), either in lookup or download.
