Dealer Cost

Hello. Just wondering if anybody knows what dealer cost is on a new 2010 Versys? What kind of deal did you get(if any) buying one. Thanks

In Canada the 2009 cost me 8600 OTD this year....The 2010 would be pushin' 10 grand I'd assume....south of the border....????

edit...oops missed the dealer cost line...sorry!

Dealer's cost on an '08 was 88.26% of retail list. My dealer show me his cost sheet on the '08 he had on the floor. I would think that the percentage would hold near that.

Nobody here can tell you the real cost. Only the dealership owner knows the real truth. Dont believe anything shown or told to you, its not the REAL cost to the dealer. Shop for the best deal, thats all you can do.

Dealer "invoice" does not include holdback or volume sales incentives; or, inventory reduction incentives to dealers at year end or leftover stock dispersal. As noted above, shop hard and enjoy the bike after you buy it!!

Thanks for your replies. I suppose best time to buy is in the winter, at the end of a model year. With so many 09s still out there, 2010s are still at retail levels. I want a 2010. I can be patient, and wait. I bet by January prices will drop some here in California.
