It was a hot one on Sunday!!!

95'f in the shade here in SW Mizzoo!!!!!!

The heat coming from the engine spasmodically was almost too much even at speeds of 75-80mph on a constant throttle!!!!

I'm assuming the "spasmodic" heat was due to the fan kicking in & blowing even more heat over my ATGATT covered body!!!

I almost admired all the Harley riders going in the opposite direction with surf shorts & cut off T shirts with flip flops & a tortoise shell for a helmet...............(I do say "almost" because the majority of them had a fat wife/mistress/gf on the back with their ripples showing through their too tight T shirts!!)

Do you have the 650 or the 1000? I just bought my 650 and haven't ridden it but I assumed there wouldn't be much heat coming off the 650 twin.

I just noticed engine heat for the first time the other day on my 650. Might be because it was only about the 3rd ride with my mesh riding pants and it was 90+ degrees. Would be interesting to know if the fan coming on would really push heat towards your body?? I noticed it mainly when stopped at a stoplight.

Forty years away from 2 wheel fun. Sure is great to be back smelling the roses!!!

Hot here in Tenn, too. Was over 90 at times, but we left mid afternoon with it at 88 by the lake. https://goo.gl/photos/TvAgTZTYAR6cBE388 Some storms coming through, and we climbed Walden's Ridge to find 73 at the top! Nice. Soon warmed up.

While the Versys seems to put off a little heat, the Guzzi has it beat by several miles in the baking of leg department!

It's VERY uncomfortable & really takes the edge off my riding pleasure.
