Alright you horn-ee guys...

After twice in the last week being pinned beside a guy completely over in my travel lane and while laying on the horn whilst looking him in the side window, he never noticed me, ( yea I actually took a fist to his side mirror and swung it up against his window to keep from getting run over) I am going for a louder horn for the V.. I like the sound of the Stebel, Kinda, but Im wanting something that is deeper toned, but loud. I Regret not knowing what the previous owner had put on my ULY, but it was very loud, and very deep (was not air charged) .. IDeas anyone?

Fiamm blaster low tone on Amazon $10 piggy back the wiring & it'll fit on the opposite side to the original.....It does the job & is the cheapest you'll get other than going down the route of truck horns (stiebel)

I like the Screaming Banshee. You hook this up in addition to your stock horn. You can still go "beep beep" with the stock horn (to say hello or a friendly "the light is green"), but if you hold your horn button down for more than 1/4 second the Banshee kicks in with it's 123db horn. I don't have one but I plan to get it.

This is what I just installed. $17 from my local discount cycle parts house. Also no mods to make it fit. just bolt it on the stock location and plug the wires in. It is quite louder than stock although it kind of has an 'elephant with sinus trouble' tone to it. If the volume doesn't get motorists attention maybe it will make them think they just ran over a water buffalo.

It's basically the same horn as the Fiamm except mine was $10 & it sounds more like an elephant farting!!!
