2015&2016 CA Emissions Models

Hey all, I'm looking to buy a possibly used 2015 or 2016 Versys. Some out of state (I live in CA) have good deals, but do the 2015/2016s have separate CA models or are they all 50state compliant?

Thankssss,
John

According to the dealer in Wisconsin, the 2015 Versys 650 LT that they're selling is NOT CA certified...

You can easily disconnect the charcoal canister. Theres a thread on it here on the forum. If you buy out of Cali you will need 7500 miles on it before you can register it in Cali. Unless you are in the military..

They are different models. CA models have a different ECU and the vapor recovery system.

It doesn't have to be if you have 7500 miles on it before you bring it to Cali. I registered my 09 Non CA Versys in Cali back in 2011. I just kept it on Texas plates till it hit the 7500 miles required.
