iPhone mount?

I've got great software for GPS navigation now (Navigon), and it works well just listening to it with the phone in my pocket - but, it would be awesome to glance now and then at the map as well.

Has anyone successfully mounted an iPhone on their Versys?
iPhone 4 specifically?

This one seems reasonable for $15:

Thoughts?

You may want to take a look at Ram Mounts: http://www.ram-mount.com/Products/Ap...7/Default.aspx I used their mounts with U-Bolt very successfully for 3GS on Vespa (mounted on mirror stem) and 500R (handlebar) but not on Versys (I don't have one yet).

soeasygps

I bought a soft case from www.soeasygps.com (it ships from France).

It's a waterproof case that velcros to the handlebars, and comes with an electrified stylus so you can use the screen through the clear vinyl with gloves. There's also a hole for the cable to plug in my helmet headset.

i use Tom Tom, but it doesn't allow me to put in waypoints. Does Navigon?

I wouldn't mount it period. I didn't mount mine to use as a golf gps in my golfcart. They are not designed for all that beating. My ipod 30 gig locked up every time I mounted it to the handlebars with a RAM mount. So bad intact Apple replaced it.
IMHO I just wouldn't do it.

yeah, the rigid mounts transfer a lot of shock to the iphone. the soft case that I have absorbs a lot of that.

But hmm... it just velcros around the handlebar then? Is that reliable enough?
