This thread is for all of us born in the 50's and 60's or before. I am joining the local chapter of the Retreads, a group that is mostly older guys who have either ridden all their years, or are back in motorcycling after a hiatus. Anyway, today I rode with them for the first time and had a great time. Here is a link to a place we stopped, an authentic 1930's garage with more memorabilia than I could tell you(some I had no idea what was). The most noteable thing is the 15 cent "gas war" sign by the road. That gets your attention, but good luck on getting any gas! It's worth a stop, if you are ever in Springfield, MO. Lived here forever, never heard of it before today
