Pricing a Versys?

Well, as they have a way of doing, some things have come up and I need to sell my Versys.

It's an 08 with 3723 miles, motowerks lowering kit, 12v outlet and overall in pretty darn good shape.

The ONLY flaw, the owner prior to me had a garage fall and the right side received some scuffs. No cracking/damage to the plastic, just superficial scratches.

So how to I price it to receive the highest possible sales price but also the quickest time frame?

Its too bad you have to sell, I would first find out the driveout price of a new '09 in your area - then get back to us.

Your buying price minus depreciation will be your selling price and also the market demand for the model.

You make a rough calculation how much losses you can take to make the deal go through.

Sorry you have to sell the V, but do stick around.

It's paid off, so I can be somewhat flexible.

Here's mine. http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/mcy/1876137401.html Asking $4400, which seems to be priced very fair.

I would order out replacement decals for it and explain IF someone asks if it was dropped that it had a garage tip-over and there is a scratch or two, or whatever. I would not put that in your ad.

There's nothing to apologize for on your bike. Seems priced right. The site mash shows a low of $3500 and highs of around $5K.
