Rode a V yesterday...

Beautiful day here in Norther New England.....started riding with no direction...ended up by the Kawi dealer and stopped in. Decided to take a test ride on a V......

Now I hate you all .....I didn't want to get back on my bike and ride the 60 miles home.....

One of these days.....

The test ride on a V sold me, was going to replace a BMW with a newer BMW but after the test ride on the V, made the right decision must fun I have had on a bike.

What kind of bike are you on?

I didn't take a test ride...did some research and then just went down and bought one. I knew within 5 miles of the dealership that I was going to be happy!

I currently ride a 1997 Suzuki GS500E. Its a great bike...destined to be a classic in my opinion. Suzuki still makes a version that hasn't changed much mechanically since 1989. Its not a touring bike by far. The seal leaves a lot to be desired and the riding position is classic forward cant. So as I get older these two factors wear on me. The seems to fit what I want in a bike good mileage for commuting. Much more comfortable for light touring. More power over all.

I'm working on getting one...selling half the crap I own to raise the money...hopefully sooner rather than later....
