Led fog lights for 2015 models

Was surfing the net trying to find out about the LED fog lights on my new V when I came across the PIAA light web site I'd googled REFLECTOR FACING TECHNOLOGY and hey presto is a picture of the new V with the "Kawasaki" branded lights on PIAA website.
It appears they are the model LP530 driving lights. Glad I found some info as it was doing my head in

Look to be of a very high quality.

These lights cost more but are really, really nice. Besides the high quality lights, the bracket & wiring harness is supplied making it truly plug & play.

I have the Kawasaki branded LED's for my 650LT and they are very bright. I feel like they definitely catch people's attention. I think they are worth the money

Nice. I just purchased some denali auxiliary lights for my V1000 LT. Hope to have them installed by the weekend.

Which ones did you get? I'm torn between the D2 and D4.

Is there any reason one couldn't tap into the OEM wiring to power aftermarket fog lamps with an aftermarket on/off switch? Looks like you'd need the OEM relay.

If so, any advice on how?

I just wired mine to the high beam circuit. The current draw from LED lights is low enough this is possible. That way the existing high beam switch controls them. I've been using mine like this for over a year with no issues.

AliExpress.com sells powerful and high quality motorcycle LED aux driving lights for ~$100 CDN a pair. Look for models that have four CREE LEDs per unit and have a high light output and narrow beam pattern. You will also need to buy a Versys specific fitment mount from someplace like Twisted Throttle.
