I use ($3) 90 degree valve stems for easy access around front brake rotor and rear chain. With this I use a $30 12v portable air pump with an electronic gauge that plugs into outlet on bike to fill and check tires once a week. IMO checking tire pressure on a bike is so easy I see no reason for a remote electronic tire pressure system that costs money.
TPMS is for a whole lot more than just seeing what the air pressure is in your tires. I had a rear tire puncture on my Concours coming home from a trip. Fully loaded and riding in the rain. TPMS saved me from probably going down in those conditions because it alerted me that the tire was losing pressure. I was able to pull over and get the bike on the center stand before it went completely flat.

Even if I were able to safely pull over with the flat tire, there is no way I could have gotten the bike onto the center stand with the flat.

I have used Doran, but the sealed sensor that you can't replace the battery makes them cost prohibitive in the long run.

Now you can get FOBO TPMS monitors that work with an APP on your smart phone. https://my-fobo.com/ It offers peace of mind and an extra level of safety. If you have ever experienced a flat while riding you will want TPMS on you bike.
