I used blue thread lock on the mounting bolts.
Had to use zip ties to prevent the bracket from spinning on the left side as I tightened it down. And on the right side I used the rubber handle end of a wrench to prevent the bracket from swinging up while tightening.
I would feel more confident if there was not an "L" shape to the mounting bracket. I think the R&G ones are just straight, which is a much better idea. Those cost twice as much as these did, and I didn't really like the look of them.
