I've read good things about Rostra Electronic Cruise Control (250-1223). Are there any other electronic cruise controls to consider for the Versys 1000?
I like the MCCruise, of course. But for $20 I decided to try a Go Cruise Throttle Control. The fellow in the store said he's been using it for three years with great success. It squeezes onto the accelerator grip, and rests against the brake lever to prevent the accelerator hand grip from twisting back to its normal off position. In the event of any kind of a stop, twisting the throttle immediately renders the Go Cruise ineffective.
Kaoko works perfect on my 650, I’d go with that on the 1000. I’ve used Cruise on a r1200RT and the kaoko works nearly as well. Either one you’ll need to adjust speed for traffic since radar cruise control isn’t a thing on bikes yet.
I had the plastic one, it failed, the aluminum one is far superior.I will add at about 1/4 the cost of Kaoko
