Stuff happens when you ride aggressively. Glad you only lost some skin. I don't always wear ATGATT, but I do when I am riding aggressively. Or maybe I ride aggressively when I am wearing ATG. I maybe I ride cautiously when I am not wearing ATG. Hard to say.
Heal up, fix the bike, and learn from this.
