You have a V1000, why that is way out would indicate the other adjuster is not set correctly or you have a broken throttle cable.

Lol. It was the USB charger and the current draw problems that seem to come with them. Sorry for the obscurity.

It is! It gets ridden in all weather here. Modesto is extraordinarily dusty as well, so dirty bikes are pretty typical (unless you wash daily, and I don't).

The hanging wire is my gear indicator, which hadn't been tucked properly yet.

Current draw problem? I don't have any, however I am looking at adding a direct wired USB outlet this winter, I have my outlet in the left side of the bike, combination lighter plug, this interferes with the Blockbusters and I have a GoPro charger I have in my tank bag, so this winter I am installing a 2 amp direct wired USB outlet in my power distribution side where I have my GPS plug installed, that way it is out of the way.

Left fairing:

copycat
Very old photo, the right side has a neat little voltmeter in place as opposed to that piece of junk in the photo, copycat heads up LED display

Same here, old photo with my original ThermoBob , the 12 volt outlet is now horizontal, pointing to the rear.

When I do the wiring changes I will update this, all fuses are accessible with the plastic in place. Since I have individual branch wiring fusing, I have never blown a fuse, all wiring is protected as well as devices.
