Smile Gordon's Heated Jacket Liner - Initial Impressions

Just received one in the mail the other day. The short of it is that it's awesome! These are made by Gordon Gerbing and family up in Washington. Yes the same Gerbing as Gerbing's heated gear. Check out their website for the story.

It's a high quality jacket, well made. Made in USA for those who that is important to. It's got a lifetime warranty on the heat elements. One of the features that really stood out to me on my first use was the neck collar heats up! Super nice! Cost is about $250. I found Gerbing's liners for as low as ~$212, but no lifetime warranty. The extra $30+ for the warranty was a no brainer for me.

Previous to this I had Sedici's Hot Wired jacket liner, a cycle gear brand. Lifetime warranty on that one also. It worked great when it worked, but I've returned 3 of them this winter due to connectors for gloves failing. The kind folks at Cycle Gear refunded my initial purchase price (from the purchase ~3 years ago) with no hassle.
