Olympia Ranger offers a lot more bang for the buck although it's at a higher price point. Fantastic hot weather venting and warmer in cold weather with great Thinsulate liner. Also uses Cordura for better abrasion resistance. Those vents let in a lot of cool air when open.

I don't have that particular jacket but I do have a couple jackets with non-removable waterproof liners. They work fine, but they are not that versatile. Even though they have "vents" the air doesn't get past the waterproof lining, so they are pretty bad in warm weather, they are pretty nice for the colder months though. Thing is, for example, I can't use them in summer, they are way too hot when it is not raining.
