Thoughts on this Safety Vest

Came across this video for the Spidi Neck DPS Airbag vest. I'm very big on safety and this looks very viable to add to my inventory. Costs around 600 bucks.

What do others think of this and is it worth the investment?

I have a hit-air air bag jacket, as do a number of members here. Do a search, you should find the threads...

I'm a huge fan and people ask me about my jacket all the time. I ought to get a commission for the number of jackets I've helped sell...

Well worth the ~$400-$500 investment!

That vest looks like it'll do it's intended job quite well! I like that it provides more neck support than the Hit-Air jacket. However, I like that the Hit-Air jacket (or vest if you go that route) protects your ribs too. From what I understand, the 2nd most leading cause of fatal motorcycle crashes are when fractured ribs puncture the lungs or heart. Hit-Air products help reduce this. It would be great if they combined the two!

I also ride with a Hit-Air vest, also purchased from Safermoto. The vest is great, and hi-viz as an added bonus. It feels akin to putting on a seatbelt when I connect the tether. Safermoto is a great company to do business with too.
