Warm & Safe make the heated gear and gloves for FirstGear. Warm & Safe have a lifetime warranty. You would be better purchasing directly from them if you like the gear. Gerbings and Powerlet are also highly recommended.

Gerbings which I have also have the lifetime warranty on the electronics. You need this as the connectors can be an issue. Gerbings and Warm & Safe use the same connectors. Gerbings warranty coverage is excellent. Do consider the purchase of a dual channel heat controller with gloves and heated jacket liner. The use of a single channel for both does not work well. The liner needs to fit tight over just a long sleeve T shirt to transfer heat effectively. With a heat controller it works best if it is accessible while riding - I use the optional controller pouch hooked to my belt while riding.

Been using the First Gear jacket liner and gloves for a couple of years now and definitely recommend them. Warm & Safe, the manufacturer, has been great to deal with whenever I had questions. I use the dual mounted controllers on both bikes ('09 Versys and '12 Connie). Little more work to do the install but once complete, a lot less hassle to use IMO than the wireless stuff. The jacket liner works best with a snug fit, I'm 5'10 and 182 lbs and the medium fits me just right.

After doing some further research, the Firstgear stuff will suit me just fine for the price. I ordered just a few minutes ago, should be there this coming week.

Had one and yes I highly recommend it. It will keep you warm in winter but safe enough while riding.
