I know what the wife thinks of this, what about you fellow V riders?

So I found this online, and thought hmmm.... should I or shouldn't I? The wife thinks it's a no-no! What do you guys think?

Hip, fugly, don't even look at it? Or go ahead buy it and look ridiculous wearing it?

Good , bad or indifferent , comments are welcome.

In the words of Al Bundy, "Um, no Peg".

Not trying to rain on your parade but... what is the point of this design? Motorcycle gear is supposed to protect the body from damage and keep you comfortable in varying weather conditions. Leather is not comfortable in hot weather. Short sleeves are not comfortable in cold weather. The most vulnerable and easy to injure spot, next to your head, is your fore arms and elbows in a motorcycle accident. Think about what you would be supporting yourself with and sliding on, as you slide along the rough pavement for 100ft or so. Not having them covered with armor and tough abrasion resistant material is equivalent to riding in short pants and flip flops.

"If you can't annoy somebody with what you write, I think there's little point in writing." Kingsley Amis, British novelist, 1971

Nope. Not in a million years. Akin to the shorts and flipflops for sure. I am certain your wife likes your skin where it is supposed to be........

I say get it. You never know when Village People may call you for an audition. Now, that would be quite the adventure (and you could bring your Versys!).

Village People was exactly the first thing I thought of when I looked at it too.

Do you want it? If you do get it, why other people opinion is important on what you wear?

You know that for protection short sleeves in any material won't cut it.

I'm all for freedom of dress and letting one express themselves but in this case, we really need to intervene and not encourage this.

lol: it's fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A! (imagine the hand/arm motions).... ok, ok, ok, NOT GETTING IT!

But I'm keeping my leather jacket and pants! I feel my masculinity is still intact wearing them. Equally important, I'd rather wear them than asphalt on my skin.

Sorry, you have that backward. Your skin would not be wearing asphalt....it would be the asphalt would be wearing your skin.

Well we don't know if the OP wants to preserve his marriage or not. It becomes simple: If yes then no; if no then yes to that thing....

As long as you don't think that is protective gear, then get and wear whatever you want. Just don't wear it while riding the versys. Give our bikes a bad name. LOL!

I think it is stupid and pointless. It's a leather short sleeve shirt. Who wears a leather short sleeve shirt? The only riding gear I ever saw that was even stupider was a pair of assless rain pants for the cruiser guys. Think about it...assless rainpants LOL. Might look good with that shirt though. If you do buy it feel free to post some pics. Hope this helps.
