Skully's helmet, built in GPS

http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-...rcycle-helmet/

Their new helmet is going to have a GPS built into a HUD, and a rear view camera. Sounds cool, but I'm sure the price will be outrageous and not sure how safe it will be having that thing in your eye.

Thoughts?

a heads up display is actually safer than having to look down at your GPS all the time. Fighter pilots and lots of sports cars have them built in.

Love it. I'll just have to wait a decade until they get affordable.

Looking at your GPS all the time is a good sign that you are lost and need to stop and find out where you are.

On their website can sign up to be a beta tester. I searched and found the price should be around $1,000 US.
