Tank bag?

Has anyone found a decent tank bag that fits the Versys? I have gone to several dealers and tried to fit many from Oxford/Gears....the magnetic types won't stick to the plastic tank fairing, the strap-on types seem to slide around....

The cortech super mini fits, but its small & pricey. Here's a link:

I almost bought it, & probably will go back for it because of the fit. I bought a bag that's a bit bigger, but its too cumbersome & looks plain dorky.

Here's a link to the one I bought:

...and a pic on the bike:

...and the matching saddle bags:

If you are looking for a small magnetic mount bag the Icon Primer or the Joe Rocket Manta may be worth a look. http://www.newenoughhp.com/luggage/tank_bags/?page=2

I am using a Joe Rocket XL and it works well. The FAMSA 260 is awsome, but after being on back order for 2-months I gave up and am getting a Wolfman Light and universal panniers for long trips.

Blanch has a Baglux cover on her Versys tank which will then give the option of many tank bags....as long as they are Baglux/Bagster.

I use a tail pack.

These look nice and are cheap at 116$. Do they require additional parts or brackets to be installed on the versys? I'd prefer using these then a tank bag...

No extra brackets/hardware of any kind. The bags have a butt load of straps for attaching them to the bike.

I've been using the JR Manta. Works fine for me and not too expensive.

Have had my Wolfman Eplorer Lite mounted up for a week or so now and am really liking it. Solid fit, seems bomb-proof, the map cased sits flat so you can actually read it - and the bag seems to interupt some of the buffeting behind the windscreen.

I got a Cortech Mini TankBag from CycleGear, I think this is it - http://www.tourmaster.com/xcart/prod...tid=143&cat=31

It works pretty well, it was the best fitting one I could find.

Do you have a picture of it with it on the bike? I have the Tourmaster Tribag Tailbag and Sport saddle bags and was thinking about that tank bag to complete the set....
