SCORPION EXO-900 Transformer

Anybody out there have any comments about the SCORPION EXO-900 Transformer 3-in-1 Motorcycle Helmet. I was thinking about getting one but wanted to check here first. I can trust to get the real scoop from my fellow V riders.

Hey,

I looked into these as well when I was looking for a helmet a few months ago. I didn't end up going with it (went with a Shoei), but during my extensive research I found no marks against it. I thought it had quite a bit of flex in it while fitting at the store, but at it's price point seems like an excellent value.

These are very heavy helmets. A size L runs over four pounds. With other good flip-ups weighing less, the Scorpion would not be one I would ever consider wearing.

Come to think of it, all of the Scorpion helmets I've ever handled or worn have all been heavy. Our size L EXO-400 weighs more than my full-face XXXL Suomy. They do however have a very solid feel to them, which seems to impart an impression of very good build quality.
