Smile Icon Contra Mil Spec Jacket

Does anyone have any thoughts about the Icon Contra Mil Spec Jacket. I am looking at picking one up for visibility puposes. I currently am wearing a black Joe Rocket Alter Ego 10.0 which is great but alittle dark on my 2011 black Versys for people to see.
Any thoughts,ideas,input would be great.

Thanks

Unless you just want to get a new jacket, you might want to look at High Viz Vests and/or belts

You can get mesh ones for warm weather and solid ones for cooler weather. I have a collection since I work on a base.

Mesh for warmer weather.

Also in yellow/green colors.

There are others there as well and of course you can get ICON ones for more $.

The Hi Viz helmets really get you noticed too.

These usually keep the cars far away.

Check out Olympia 4 season jackets. They are not the cheapest price wise but offer great quality and functionality for the money. Definitely a step up from Joe Rocket (I used to own an Alter Ego) and Icon quality wise. Great hot weather venting and best in class abrasion resistance. If you believe this article, 1000D Cordura is rated as having similar abrasion resistance to 1.3mm leather.

I have a FirstGear adventure jacket that is 1000D Cordura with leather on the shoulders and elbows. You can stand that jacket up it is so stiff. The mistake I made was buying a color that matched my now departed DRZ400. Live and Learn
