You'll have to tell us about your 18 day trip, I'm building mine up for such, I have a FJR and a 1800 Wing as well, but my Versys is my favorite daily rider...I hate washing them as well, They are made to ride..

Here some pictures of my versys from another side of the globe (i.e. Singapore). Pictures taken at Cameron Highlands, Malaysia. Think the Versys with ABS on it looks the best :P

Made them out of some Acerbis dualsport's. Just some flat bar mounts bolted to my Acerbis hand guards.

How do you find those mirrors , are they adjustable?

10mm wrench and I can put them where I need them. Quite a bit more rear viewing than stock even with the smaller size.

Oh yeah, we don't have a lot of those signs up here Bear. Most of ours just point out how cold it is and how far it is to heat. ;-)

i like how there tucked in compared to most bar end mirriors.

i just went to aluminum Renthal bars and remove the bar end weights, this shaved 2 lbs. of weight up high.

getting rid of those heavy stock mirriors will get rid of more unwanted weight up high.

Thats awesome Lone Ranger ............pull into a Duacati dealership and ask the mechanic to check what kind of oil filter your "Ducati Mini-Strada" takes .......No sir , I said mini , not multi .....well it's in the parking lot if you don't believe me.........lol
