Hey, no one ever told me that the V has 114 ft-lbs of torque!!!
(see Service Manual, section 1-8)

I wonder who got fired for doing that conversion...

The conversion table:

N·m × 0.7376 = ft·lb

61 × 0.7376 = 44.9936

114 ft·lb would be nice.... I wouldn't last long on it though.

Hey, if anyone prints the manual like I did (couldn't read the small print online)
you can skip the 40 or so pages on ABS brakes. My printer is so slow, I have
been on this print for hours! (personal problem, I know). I also am skipping engine removal and internal engine data 'cause I am never going there!

Question: Does anyone know if Kawasaki ever produced any with ABS at all?
My quess is that it was too expensive, and judging from all the instructions,
too problematic to fix. Just wondering.

I took the .pdf file to a Kinkos and they printed it for me for $41.00. That is 2 sided with spiral bound and front clear cover and a solid black back cover. I thought it was a good deal.
