Default Greetings

Hello from the central California coast, gateway to Big Sur and the incomparable Highway 1.
I've been riding a '98 R1100GS since it was new, and it just turned over 102,000 miles. It's beginning to show its age. I rode a Versys yesterday, and liked it enough that it will probably replace the workhorse BMW, as I love the idea of having 100 pounds less weight to deal with while keeping the upright riding position I like. This afternoon, unfortunately, I learned of the existence of the F800GT BMW, which looks to me like the perfect bike. I've been looking forward to buying a new bike for half the cost of a new GS, but am teetering in my resolve. Has anyone seen a preliminary report on the 800GT?
Speak to me; talk me into the Kawasaki!

The bmw is 90Hp as opposed to the Versys 64 Hp and am sure the BMW would be a nice ride and if $$$ were not in equation I would love one but the versys is still a pretty good bang for buck and cheap on maint costs and one heck of a funvee.
