As a comparison I have seen brand new 2011's going for $5,500 to $6,000. No they don't have the bags but when you can pop $1K more, maybe less, people are going to go for the new bike.

Just a thought.

Good luck with that price in Dallas, TX Cheapest new 2011's I have ever seen that was not a scam with a bunch of added fees was $6k then you pay taxes in your state, that was a dealer in KS.

Todd

BTW I sold my other 09 on Good Friday for $4800 with twice the miles and no bags.

Difference between spring and fall sales. People just expect to pay less in the fall. It is a beautiful bike and definitely the best color so far on the V. Wish they would have held off on that color until '11. Good luck with the sale.

Nice bike and I don't think I would feel cheated paying $5k for it if I was in the market for another 650 and you were local.

I love the Versys but really need a liter size bike cause the wife has decided she wants to ride with me and do some touring.

I'd like to see a link for that. The lowest I've seen was $6399 + $500 freight and setup, + $260 DMV fees for a total of $7159, which makes a low mileage '09 with nice bags and racks seem like a pretty good deal at $5000.
