Please allow me to offer a big THANK YOU to member rodentrancher for taking over hosting and maintaining the riders map beginning 4/25/2016!

The map has moved to his account so please change your bookmarks accordingly.

I created a Google map showing our geographic locations. This map is a great way to find out who is close to us. If you want to be added to this map, reply with your zip code (if in USA) and I will add your screen name to the map.

If you want me to be very specific in pin placement, use the coordinate method by opening google maps, finding the place on the map where you wish your pin to be located and right click and select "What's Here?" When the coordinates appear in the search field, copy them and paste in your reply.

If you are outside the USA, please use the Coordinate method as described above. Thanks!

Access to edit the map is restricted because it would only take one person to hack or mess up the map. If you later want to be removed, simply ask & I will gladly honor your request.

Well Capn Kirk, did you think you'd get this many people responding to your location post? It's a good idea if a bit of work for you. I wish there was a safe way to post phone numbers so the traveler in need of help could get a call out to the closest member.

I am having fun placing the pins. Reminds me of when I was young, my dad being a ham radio guy, had a world map and we put pins for every person he talked to around the world. This was amazing back in the day before the world got so small with the internet.

Regarding phone numbers..... I am very protective with mine. I can only imagine most are. No good way to post them. Best bet would be if you plan on riding near another member, contact them privately ahead of time and see what you can work out. :thumb:

I would love to cover the map so all you see is pins!
