We had a wonderful weekend here in SW Virginia. Temps in the low 70's. Took out the V for some good mid-winter riding. We have been fortunate to have had no snow yet this year so no salt on the roads yet!

Was glad to be home!
Glad you had a good ride Deb. (I spent the last couple of days installing a "Fuzeblock FZ-1" to clean up my wiring, and removed my H-B crash-bars to install S-W Motech crash-bars and skid-plate. SHOULD get a ride in this afternoon once I put all the 'plastic' back on.)
I sneaked another winter ride today, if you can call it "winter", it felt more like spring.
44 when I left the house this morning and 54 coming home. Very comfortable both ways.
Just a reminder for those who winter ride in the snow belt and all points north, pay particular attention to the condition of the roadway and take it easy on corners and intersections. Lots of cinders, salt and other junk on the roads this time of year.

+1 That is some great warnings for winter riding and second that idea!
Sand and gravel at the intersections are killer and will dump you bam!
Its cold here again, but man its nice to get a ride in! Good for you enjoy!
Ya gotta love Ohio weather. We get all 4 seasons in 24 hours! I woke to 65 deg weather today. and it rained almost all day and the temp dropped like a stone. They're calling for snow tomorrow.
After my last ride a couple of weeks ago it took close to four hours to get the bike salt free, and I only rode for a couple hours. So today I said NOPE I take the car, the ride can wait a bit more.
I was down in Dayton yesterday and it was a raw day, cold & damp, one that cut right through you. I was north bound on I-675 on the way home and here comes a bike! WAIT it was a POLICEMAN! I thought they park their bikes when it got this nasty, 17 degs!
