Where was Kenny going? I've never seen anything like that.
I have seen people ride like that! One of the reasons I am very selective of who I ride with. Some people don't have the "feel" for riding two wheels. They are a danger to themselves and to others. I rode with a lady like your Kenny and she wrecked three times because she was afraid of the lean, so she bought a trike. I no longer ride with her.
If one finds himself across the painted lines and they don't understand why it happened, time to sell the bike before someone in the opposite lane is there to meet them.
Those guys were leaning. Maybe target fixation? Yikes. I guess I'm the lucky one because I have never ridden with anyone like that. Did have a guy tell me once he rather avoid the highways but I have no problems with that. The side roads are the most exciting to me anyway. Find myself solo more often than not. Enjoy it that way too.
I usually do solo rides, but have had the pleasure of getting together with forum members for some small group rides as well. It has always been good meeting up with the members from the forum cause the people here are a class act.

He seems to have a problem with corners. The subject came up once with a handful of us that split from one group and started another one. i was asked why i skipped a few group rides in the past and i let them know that when certain people would sign up i'd drop out because it just wasn't safe. But of course the guy in the video now rides with the new group. But he's usally toward the back or mid-pack, I use to stay toward the back to get more people in the video's i make but now theres a handful of riders that i call the road runners that lead and haul ass so i run with them. We stay a good bit ahead of the rest but will slow down enough for them to be able to see one of us.
The good friend I ride with the majority of the time used to have a versys but now rides and NT700V.
Next summer I'm planning a Lake Superior circle tour. The group on that run will consist of my Versys, the NT, a couple Harleys, a Goldwing trike, a custom trike and a ... a ... c... ca.... CAR.

If I lived in your area my wife would enjoy more quiet time.
Spent a couple weeks going from Jay Cook near Duluth , circling around to Bay Furnace near Munising & enjoyed the municipal camp ground in Bayfield Wi. the best.
The guy I ride the most miles with owns a ZX10R, ZZR600, and a ZRX1200.
I ride with my neighbor who now owns my '08 KLR.
Some guys from church that I ride with ride cruisers.
Another guy that I travel with owns a Voyager XII, and a Concours 14.
Most of my miles are solo though and are in concert with work related destinations.
I prefere riding alone. I mostly ride with my father though when with someone. He rides a a Honda Shadow.
I did a forum ride 2 years ago with a bunch of fokes from here. It was around 10 v's and 1 cruiser. The ride was alot of fun and besides that I have only ever seen 1 v on the road.
When I was younger and rode sport bikes all my friends rode them as well. Byt most of them rode like idiots and crashed and quit riding.

I usually ride alone. When I ride in a group, it is usually with my dad on his Boulevard S40 or my mom on her Boulevard C50. VERY rarely, I will join a ride with the local riding forum, though I don't do it often, some people are jackasses
Usually alone. Try to get together with some friends once in a while, would like to do longer rides with them. One has a Buell, the other has a Multistrada. I can almost keep up with them, but even when I am a fair bit behind, I can usually still hear the Buell

They are SO loud! I have a friend with one, rode it around the block and said, here ya go! Didn't like it much, makes the Versys seem like a Cadillac. I ride mostly with Beemer riders, my other bikes are Beemers.
Keith - IF ANY part of YOU or the motorcycle (left hard-bag) is across the center-line, you are in extreme danger from someone coming towards you and close to THEIR side of the center-line!
