I just bought a new 2011 Versys & plan to have it regeared as more of a cruiser, less low end torque/fewer rpms. I hate shifting every 1.5 seconds, while still finding plenty of new torque in the next higher gear. Wonder what a dealer mechanic will charge me to add 3 teeth to front sprocket & remove 1 or 2 from the rear sprocket? Will my chain have to be modified/shortened?
I'm having Astech redo my factory seat for more comfort.
Wonder what that will cost? Don't want it lowered, just flat & not angled forward or backward. Any ideas of what these costs might run me?
