I got with Weljo2001 before I bought the pegs, they are the same ones he had on his bike. When I installed them only problem I had was they would drop down so I pm'ed him about them dropping down. He said he just left his down all the time so it didn't bother him. If you look at the picture of my bike that is the angle I had mine. They aren't gripping all of the crash bar. I'm having a rubber "bushing" made for me at work to put between the peg mount bracket and the crash bar. When I get it on there I'll post a picture. This is why they keep turning. It doesn't grip all the way around the bar...just in the middle where the 2 pieces on the peg mount come together.

So you are actually mounting them on the crashbar. Hopefully the rubber bushing will work for you. I'll be waiting on the posted picture.
