Greetings all, bought a new 2012 650 Versys a few months ago and just stumbled across this forum. I hope to find some interesting info and maybe some other riders from my neck of the woods...

They tell us its to handle larger amounts of traffic during peak times and help traffic flow better.... All I know is its hell on tires, particularly left wall of......

I honestly haven't seen it, but I am a BIG FAN of 'The Straits' on ABC set in FNQ, series 2 kicks of February 2nd....

I am a fair way from Coolum (been there, though), however, it's good to see a few Aussies on this forum.

If you love riding/touring, make sure you come down to Tassie at some stage. We have some of the best bike roads in Aus, if you can dodge all the dead-bry (road-kill). Sadly, there's far fewer Tasmanian Devils to clean it up these days.

Indeed, Tassie has more roadkill than you'd see anywhere in the world. Almost feels like a local hobby leftovers... and yeah, no devils, sadly. Hope somebody finds the way to save them.
