Will checkout here if can help ship these beaks out to those interested. This will take some time probably after Christmas as busy with other projects. Thanks.
I live in Thailand, right next to Malaysia where these are made. You would think that it would be s simple matter to ring up and have a beak sent in the post, and I have been trying to do so for about 6 weeks to no avail
The 3 Malaysian Vendors to date have been useless. One will not send via post as he is worried that the Malaysian postman cannot find my house. Another does not respond to a text, email, or Facebook message. The other initially responds, then in spite of several follow ups on my part, does nothing.
I have given up, and will make the damm thing myself carving it out of a stryofoam block and then making a fibreglass mould.
Anyone interested in a bulk shipment to the US or Canada and distributing them - should be cheaper than me posting to each person individually
Won't know landed USA cost until the shipping logistics are figured out, and that depends if it is a bulk shipment or one at a time to each buyer
You guys should get together for a group buy. If I had some idea of quantity I could give you a landed price. Think in the region of 125 USD painted flat black - cheaper if gel coat
My bike is a 2011 and we do not have any earlier versions in Thailand. All I can make is what I know fits my bike.
I'd like to see how it's mounted and if it's reversable in the case I sell the bike and new buyer wants it stock...but very interested, 125USD sounds reasonable.
Depending on what happens in the next month or so I could be convinced to get on board. Sadly I know I can't make any decisions until after January 1 2013.
Trying to figure out what it would look like on the maroon 2011 Versys.

It is a 3 piece affair, the beak itself and 2 side panels to blend into the stock anteater nose.
Reversible no problem
Will post a pic when back from my ride next week as off in the morning
My bike is 2011 maroon but I thought to either do it in flat black to match the other plastic bits (mine is all blacked out) or completely repaint the bike incorporating some spiffy graphics on the beak.
I think flat black for now as it is riding season in Thailand, and will do a complete paint makeover in rainy season which summer in N. America
