How much for the 09.

Going this weekend to look at an 09 blue Versys with OEM hard bags. 3000miles, engine guards, baldwin seat, tank bag. I would prefer the green and would jump at the one in dallas in the for sale forum, but its 14 hours away.
Anyone suggest a decent price. After some quick research on my own, I feel that he is asking about what it's worth.

On a quick rant though, I went to a dealer who had a used 09 selling it for a friend. 11k miles, oem hard bags, slip on muzzy exhaust, extended warranty and he wanted 7000 for it. He wanted full NADA retail + 700 dollars for the extras. After checking on craigslist, cycletrader, and the forums here, I have decided he was crazy. He wasn't budging off of $7000.

But anyhow, suggestions on what I should give for the blue 09 I hope to buy this weekend.

I would give a Good Faith Estimate of between $4,500 and $5,500. USD. And how bad you like the frackles on it?

I paid 5000$ for a 2011 with 4000km on this past June. For a 2009 I wouldnt pay over 5k USD including hard cases.

Bought my '09 in July for $5300 out-the-door, title and plates and tax. No bags, but man it was CLEAN! New widshield, and SW-Motek engine guards.

Needs tires, as OEM ones are still on(and they are CRAP!)and a new battery in the spring.

So I concur with MTS $4500 - $5500. Stay as low as you can go. Just because there are low miles... You still have to do some maintainance and upgrades.

I just picked up a completely stock '09 blue one with 400 miles on it for $4400.

I'm sure that there are better deals to be had but it worked for me.

You just need to find what you are comfortable with within you geographic area.
