Ordered A Seat Concepts seat for my '11 today

I guess I'm the only guy on the interwebz that couldn't make his SC seat work. The guy that installed the foam for me makes motorcycle seats for a living. He wants me to come back with the bike and the SC foam and we will get to chopping. Maybe we can make something work.

Mine's at the upholsterers right now getting put on. I was thinking about doing it myself, but like someone else said....once you buy the stapler, adhesive, staples, etc, you're running into 50-75 bucks.
The shop will charge about 25-30 bucks.
I can't wait to try it out!!!!

Alot of guys here have jumped on the SC bandwagon but one thing i know from all the seats i've tried is anything is better than the stock seat. The most appeal i believe is because its cheap.

+1 It's not the best aftermarket seat I've ever had, but it's the best for the price.

Seat issues are probably the most common complaint from BMW owners.All complain that if you spend a minimum of 8k up to 20K,you should at the very least have a comfortible seat.I've had good luck with several used Sargents and 1 Corbin on them.The new ones are too pricey for me.
I will probably have to go in this direction and have an upholesterer do the work,since I have 10 thumbs.

Well....had it put on yesterday, and I must say...... I like it!!!! The foam is much better quality....firmer....heavier. I love the way it makes the downward slope dissappear. My balls are no longer being squished!!!!
It does pull me back from the bars a bit....but I have long arms, so it doesn't seem to be an issue.
AND....another plus is that the extra inch in height, gives my knees a break

I've put about 3000km on the seat, and still simply love it. I don't even think of the seat anymore which I certainly couldnt say of the stock seat! If you're tall go for it, you won't regret!
