Another saddlebag question

I hate to keep bugging you folks with these questions, but do I need to buy saddlebag brackets to install these bags safely?

You can probably use them where they won't hit the tire but they probably will sag inward some either eventually or if heavily loaded.

Other option is just to buy an SW-motech quick release side-racks. Will still cost you WAY less then hard cases

Now thats what I'm talking about. I dont want to seem cheap here, but $200.00 + for OEM mounting supports is a little much I think. (More than the bags).

I've been looking for some "fabrication" ideas. This looks like a real good one.

Wow! Those are highly technically advanced bags. Accoring to the Tour and Ride web page they weigh 8.38 pounds but have no height, length or width! That's amazing! I'm thinking they must come with some manner of Klingon cloaking device to give the appearance of absolutely no volume or mass.

Or... get a belt or some webbing with the snap-together ends. Wrap them around EACH handle on your soft bags and tighten OVER your seat....

Or buy the Dirt Bagz. They come with the metal supports and are very reasonable, well made, and never flop around.

The Givi Easybag line of saddle bags fit the Versys better than the Givi Silver line you have linked to. The Givi Easybag line has some support built in so it does not droop. No need to buy brackets with soft luggage.
