Head Light Assembly

I love my 2011 but I have a small problem with the head light assembly - it leaks. I have put my bike up for the winter so now would be a good time to tackle this. I want to pull the assembly out and clean down inside of it. I have the fairings off but i cant seem to see where to get the assembly out. Has anyone else run into this with their head light ? After i clean it i am planning on sutting silcone around where i think it leaks.

Chances are if it leaks the rubber seal around the connector at the back of the light is loose and just not attached properly. If you bike is under warranty I would take it to the dealer to see what they say. Not a normal issue.

i got the assembly out but now i can not separate the two to clean the lens. Seems to be leaking at the top. Asked the dealer last year and his response was from Kawasaki that it is not a sealed beam so not covered under warranty. The first photo is where I think the cleaning agents are getting in and the second one you can see the streak marks inside
