Here is a shot of my 2008 with Pelican side cases and homemade rack I bought from a forum member and my Coocase 48L top case with a KTMDuals rack.

I love my bags, but I kind of wish my side bags were a little bigger. Oh well, can't have everything you want

Nice! But it seems you missed the part of the title that says "with bags".

The panniers are Givi, not bags as such, but there is a tank bag in the photo!

Did you also install racks for the soft side bags or are they mounted on the bike without any kind of side racks or stands?

Since this old thread has been revived, here's an update on my saddlebags.

Before, plain old Givi E-21s:

Now, upgraded with shameless ( ) self-promotion:

Just added the Givi 447FZ tail rack, with M5M monolock plate, to the bike. This will allow me to use the E26 box I had on before (and on my Ninja before that). I've had the Givi E21s with Givi side racks on since last year.

Givi makes a great product but they MUST have the worst printed directions ever. But I knew this going in. I had to undo most of the side racks to slide in the tail rack. Just kept everything loose till it was all lined up, then tightened the whole system down. I am very impressed with how well the 2 racks fit with each other.

Default 2011 with Givi E21

2011 with Givi mounts and E21 cases. Did not have to relocate turn signals.
