I'd love to do the same too!

I really like this beak for the V:

I think it's a bit less pronounced than the others. If it was available commercially I'd probably pick one up. It's not.

I don't get "beaks" on bikes and care even less for trying to make one brand look like another, but c'est la vie. Whatever makes you happy.

It came from Fooqaw via:http://www.kawasakiversys.com/forums...d.php?p=219657

I've tried reaching out to him to inquire on making them available to purchase, but to no avail...

DISASTER. Street bikes (like what the Versys is) with beaks are for posers. I can only imagine the faring buzz that thing makes.

Bought used from a guy who bought it in thailand, and disliked the height after installing it.

Not quite, im sure he does not have 15k into that bike on top of the cost of the bike itself. my versys, 7200.00 1200 multi 23,000 plus accessories...

far cry from what the guy has done on that red one..

I was comparing a new modified versys to a stock used MS But regardless of price, to me it's like people that have Ferrari kit cars...if you can't afford the real deal just keep dreaming, nothing wrong with that

Me too. my v was 7200 brand new. I agree that I would not do that, but its not that bad, and not alot of money went into it to do it. I would love a real ms1200 tho...been eyeballing, however not a dealer in a bazzilion miles of me so thats out. stick with the kawis!

Well to each his own. I could not brain his intentions either.

But he does own a few other bikes to run around, and versys is definitely NOT the most expensive bike in his stable.

I'm 100% in favor of "live and let live" and "there's no accounting for taste" and other applicable cliches. I don't put down anyone else's subjective preferences because I have plenty of questionable tastes myself, which I hope others will not put down too much. To broader society, just riding a motorcycle is questionable taste.

That said, "sexy" is absolutely not an adjective I would apply to the bike in question and I also do not understand why motorcycles started imitating Big Bird.

Instead of the plain old black, someone decided to up the ante.
